If you donít know, the manufacturing industry has already started using Twitter as it is the new way to promote, connect, and brand a company. If you’re a system integrator, VAR, or consultant, and marketing in the manufacturing space, and not using Twitter then your company is missing out.
So why bother using Twitter for your business? Social listening, connecting, and engagement. Itís networking from your computer, smartphone or tablet. And the are over 313 million monthly active users.
You see the great part about Twitter, unlike some of the other social platforms, is that you donít have to have someone following you for you to engage with them (that is huge).
Simply find someone that youíd like to start engaging with and you can message them directly by simply @mentioning them in your Tweet. Try it this week with @IMTS_2016 or #IMTS.
